COVID-19:

Indonesia is fully open for travel with no testing requirements for vaccinated travelers, no mandate for mask-wearing in uncrowded outdoor spaces, and no mandatory health insurance.

Apply e-VoA (electronic Visa On Arrival ) via this website (guidelines here)

Nationalities not on the list still need to apply for B211A visas and sponsors from Indonesia are required.

Arrival at Denpasar Airport:

  1. Covid-19 vaccine certificate to on board
  • Keep the screenshot of the QR code
  • Or bring your hard certificate
  1. Visa on arrival (VOA) or E-visa
  • You need to pay 1st your visa at a special counter: you can pay by cash or credit card (Visa or Mastercard)
    • Price: 500 000 rupees or 35 USD
  • List of countries accepted for VOA

***Free of charge will apply for ASIAN citizens (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam)

  1. After paying for your visa, you get a receipt and you need to go to the immigration counter.
  2. After your entrance is validated by immigration, you need to show your Electronic Custom Declaration.

  • For those who couldn’t complete the online form, you can print one at the airport.

To go faster, we recommend doing it before the arrival.

  1. After passing Customs counters, you will see some money changer counters and ATM 
  • Change rates on April 25, 2023:
    • 1 USD = 14300 rupees (IDR)
    • 1 EUR = 15500 rupees

We suggest you have some rupees which is enough for transportation then use USD to exchange at the centers for a better rate.

  1.  When you leave the airport, people will be asking you if you need a taxi, but you will have to discuss the price 
  • After 5 mn walk, you reach the parking where you can find a taxi counter

The price for going to Hilton is 300 000 rupees = 21 $
